The Bay Lodge - Gansbaai

This place boasts a peaceful location near a boat dock, offering a secure environment with delicious breakfast options and incredibly helpful staff.

Sunny balcony was a bonus. The owner was helpful!

The breakfast was SENSATIONAL and available with fruits, muesli plus cheese, the staff were incredible. The service was excellent during all my fab stay.

Came here for 2 nights with my family, had a really great stay. The personnel was very amiable and amiable, and the owner too. The room was big size and huge with view on the kelders and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The location right on to the ocean was marvellous and incredible for me. Everything was simply excellent.

The breakfast here was delicious and didn't break the bank. 🥞👌 the location is awesome, just a quick stroll away from whale watching. the hostess at the bar and restaurant is friendly, and the view is really nice.

The room was brand new and tidy, with convenient amenities like an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. the views of the ocean were superb. the hotel is peacefully located on the outskirts of Gansbaai, near the town center, and is even better than Hermanus for whale watching because the whales come closer to the rocks. Whale watching spots were just a short walk away from the lodge.

I had a great stay at this hotel in De Kelders, which is a lovely little village just a short drive from Gansbaai. The location was perfect, as it was so close to the nearby beach. I loved being able to relax and unwind just in front of the ocean. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with stunning views and a lovely sunset. The beds were super comfy, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a view of the Kelders. The breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to the day.

We had the most amazing stay at a beautiful guesthouse in a seaside town. The location was perfect, with fine views of the ocean right from our balcony. The rooms were excellent, spacious and beautifully furnished. The hostess, Villeria, were pretty good too make us feel at home and even helped us book excursions. The breakfast was delicious and the overall feeling of being welcomed and cared for made this the best stay we've had in a long time. highly recommended!
